Have you been hurt by someone you love? You may be a victim of domestic violence or sexual abuse. Abuse can take many forms, physical abuse, emotional abuse, psychological abuse, or sexual abuse. You can get help.

Who we are...

Albemarle Hopeline is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to serving victims of family violence, sexual assault, and teen dating violence. Hopeline provides services to six Northeastern North Carolina Counties: Pasquotank, Camden, Chowan, Currituck, Perquimans, and Gates.

What we do...

Emergency Shelter - Hope House, a shelter for battered women and children, provides a temporary sanctuary for victims and comprehensive support services.
Twenty-four Hour Crisis Counseling Telephone Line - Includes crisis intervention, counseling, information, and related service referrals regarding family violence, rape, and child abuse.
Counseling - Individual counseling and support groups provided.
Rape Crisis Team - Provides immediate and ongoing support to rape victims.
Volunteer Training - A mandatory 25-hour training is provided for individuals interested in becoming actively involved in the Hopeline program.
Courtroom Advocacy - Supports victims through the judicial process.
Education - Provides a variety of programs to area schools.
Information and Referral - Provides referrals to appropriate community resources.
